Your City Hall: Housing and Transit Dominated the Week!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, what a week we've had down at City Hall, eh? Felt like every conversation, every report, came back to one thing: how we get around and where we lay our heads at night. We’re talking some real deep dives into housing and transit, and honestly, it’s about time.

* **Housing's the Big Yarn:** There was a lot of talk about how to get more homes built, especially for folks who are just trying to make ends meet. From the North End right out to Sackville, folks are looking for a place to call their own, and City Hall is feeling the pressure.

* **Getting Around Town:** And then, once you’ve got your place, how do you get to work or to see your ma down in the South End? We heard all about improving bus routes and maybe even some new bike lanes that won't have you feeling like you're racing the Spring Garden Road traffic.

It's all about making life a little bit easier for us Haligonians, my son. Some good news is that they're really focusing on the basics that make a city work.

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
