Your City Hall just wrapped up a wild week, buddy!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, my son, what a week it's been down at City Hall, eh? Felt like we were getting tossed around more than a ferry in a chop out there on the harbour. If you blinked, you might've missed somethin' important!

### What's Been Cookin'

* **Weather, Weather, Everywhere:** Seemed like every day council was talkin' about the sky. Those storms we had? They were a big deal for City Hall, tryin' to keep everyone safe and sound. Some serious alerts goin' out!

* **Homes for Folks:** Beyond the rain, a good chunk of the talk was about getting more roofs over heads. They're still pushin' hard to make sure everyone in Halifax has a warm place to call their own.

* **Busy Bees:** Even with all the weather distractions, they were still hammerin' away at the usual city business. Never a dull moment, that's for sure.

So, if you felt like things were movin' fast, you weren't wrong. Some good week, some good.
