Your 311 requests are quiet. Too quiet.

Your City Hall is quiet, real quiet.

Listen, normally I'm over here with the wooder-ice debate or talking about some wild jawn down at the Italian Market, but my City Hall beat? It's been like the Wissahickon Trail in January — not much moving.

**What's Not Happening Down at City Hall**

I'm not even gonna hold you, my inbox for the 311 service requests and development activity is looking emptier than South Street on a Tuesday morning. We usually got people calling about potholes big enough to swallow a SEPTA bus, or some wild construction jawn popping up in Fishtown. But right now, the numbers ain't saying much of anything.

* No new 311 issues to report this go-around.

* Development permits are on a serious chill.

This could mean a few things, or nah? Maybe folks are just enjoying the quiet, or maybe the system itself is taking a breather. I've seen slower weeks, but this is a *slow* week. It's like everybody decided to take a permanent trip down the shore at the same time. We'll be keeping an eye out to see if this is just a momentary lull or if the silence is the actual jawn we need to be watching.

That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.
