Regina housing is just doing its own thing. Are you surprised?

Your housing market is something else, eh?

This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.

Well, *tânisi* Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, wrapping up a week where we talked a lot about your housing market, and *oh for sure* there’s been a lot to unpack. We’ve seen a real mixed bag of weather, too, from those wild winds we know so well to some messy precipitation that made carrying an umbrella pretty much useless.

### What we talked about this week

The big thing on everyone's mind seems to be finding a place to live that doesn't break the bank, eh?

* We looked at how Regina's housing market is just… doing its own thing, really. Prices are up, but not everywhere, and folks are feeling the squeeze.

* Talked about the constant push and pull between supply and demand, especially for families and younger people trying to stay in the city.

* And of course, that weather. You just gotta plan for anything when you live out here on the prairies, *tânisi*?

It's all connected, you know? How the city grows, how we manage our resources, and how we look after each other. *Oh for sure*.

This is Darlene Chicken-Lawson, and that's your MiTL Morning Wire from Regina.
