Your City Hall's real estate talk is finally getting real
Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.
Right, so this past week, we've been talking a fair bit about City Hall, or, more accurately, what *wasn't* coming out of City Hall for a couple of days. It was quieter than a Sunday morning down by the docks, eh?
### What Was Said and What Wasn't
The big talk, when there *was* talk, was all about making your next home search a bit easier. The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has been front and centre, pushing for a simpler process for everyone trying to navigate the market.
Here's the gist of it:
* CREA wants to streamline the home buying and selling process.
* They're looking at ways to make it more accessible for regular folks.
* We saw a couple of days where civic data from Saint John was just… absent. Happens, right? Probably just a little hiccup in the system, or maybe everyone was just out enjoying the spring air.
I'll tell you what, it's good to hear folks are thinking about making things easier for us Maritimers trying to find a place to hang our hats. The market's a bit wild, so any help is good help.
