But dis time, it was a woman from Trinidad heading to Europe, Wendy Salandy, and she ended up right here in St. John's at da Health Sciences Centre. Dey even went and got her some new clothes when she needed 'em, because her luggage went on without her, naturally. It's da kind of connection dat forms over a shared cuppa tea, or maybe a feed of fish and chips down at Ches's. Dis is how we do things here when someone's in a bind.
