Halifax City Hall wants more homes and better buses for you

Your City Hall was all about your home and your drive, my son!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, if you were wondering what the good folks at City Hall were chewing on this past week, it was all about our homes and how we get around, eh? Housing was a big ol' topic, always is, especially with folks trying to find a spot that doesn't cost an arm and a leg down by the harbour or up in Clayton Park. And then there's the traffic, my son.

* Big talks about getting more homes built, faster.

* Lots of chatter about making our bus routes better and maybe even some new bike lanes.

* Even a little bit about how all this new development fits in with our old streets.

It's all part of making sure Halifax stays a grand spot to live and visit, don't you know. Always something brewing down there at City Hall, trying to keep our city moving and growing, some good.

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
