Your City Hall just made real estate make sense.

Your City Hall's been a wild ride this week, eh?

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, what a week it's been down at City Hall, eh? It felt like we were getting tossed around more than a ferry in a chop out there on the harbour. We had a real mixed bag of stories come across the wire, some good and some… well, some had folks scratching their heads, my son.

The big yarn this week, though, was all about real estate. The Canadian Real Estate Association, CREA, has been making some noise, and it sounds like things are getting clearer for folks looking to buy or sell.

* They're bringing in a new voice to talk about real estate.

* This could make the whole process easier to understand.

* It's all about getting a better handle on what's happening with housing, which we know is a big deal for everyone here in Halifax.

It’s always a juggling act down at City Hall, trying to keep everyone happy and the city moving forward, from Dartmouth to out past the Peggy's Cove turn-off. We'll keep an eye on it all for you, buddy.

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
