You won't believe what City Hall got up to this week, buddy!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, what a week it's been down at City Hall, eh? It felt like we were getting tossed around more than a ferry in a chop out there on the harbour. If you blinked, you might've missed something important, because they were moving faster than a tourist trying to find a parking spot downtown.

We had some big discussions bubbling away:

* **Weather, my son, the weather!** We had more weather advisories than you can shake a stick at. It really put a focus on how our city deals with the elements, which is always a big yarn for us.

* **Decisions flying around.** There were some surprising votes and some real head-scratchers this week. Felt like they were trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat, only some of those rabbits were still a bit fuzzy around the edges.

It was a real mixed bag, like getting a double-double that's half coffee, half tea. The main thing is, a lot of different things were happening all at once, making it hard to pin down one big story.
