Halifax City Hall was a wild ride. You missed this.

Your City Hall recap: It was some wild, buddy!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, what a week it's been down at City Hall, eh? It felt like we were getting tossed around more than a ferry in a chop out there on the harbour. If you blinked, you might've missed a thing or two, my son! We had a real mixed bag of stories this past week, some good and some… well, you know.

The big yarn, of course, was all about housing. Folks are always talking about it, and the latest from CREA had everyone buzzing, buddy. It feels like every time you turn around, someone’s got a new take on it. Besides that, it was a blur of plans and discussions. Just yesterday, we were even talking about the weather, which, around here, is practically a civic duty to respect.

Here’s the gist of it:

* Housing, housing, housing – still the main topic of conversation.

* City Hall was a whirlwind of activity, with decisions coming fast.

* The weather even snuck into our daily advisories, reminding us who’s boss.

So, if you’re living here in Halifax, the folks at City Hall have been busy trying to sort things out, sometimes two steps forward, one step back, you know?

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
