Your neighbors called 311 about *this* 9,118 times last month.

What L.A. actually called 311 for last month

Okay so check it— everybody always says like, "Oh, the city doesn't care," or "What are they even doing down at City Hall?" But your 311 calls? Those literally tell us what Angelenos are actually worried about, ya sabes?

Last month, the biggest thing, by far, was literally trash. We're talking 9,118 requests for "Item Pickups" and another 7,135 for "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup." No mames, that's like, a *lot* of stuff left out there. It's not just a Westside thing either; this is all over. It makes you wonder how much stuff is just piling up on the streets, right? It's like, you see it on your way to get a breakfast burrito, or when you're trying to walk your dog around Hollenbeck Park.

Here’s the breakdown of what had people hitting up 311:

* **Item Pickups:** 9,118 requests

* **Illegal Dumping Item Pickup:** 7,135 requests

* **Information-Only:** 6,631 requests (and another 4,572 separate ones, which is kinda vague, no?)

* **Graffiti Removal:** 2,588 requests (plus another 2,013)

* **Homeless Encampment:** 1,746 requests

Honestly, it just shows you that keeping our neighborhoods clean and dealing with the trash, that's the real day-to-day struggle for a lot of people here. It's not the fancy new luxury condos — it’s whether your street looks like a dumping ground. Keep an eye on how the city responds to this, because it’s literally what we’re calling them for.

That's the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
