Your City Hall got 16,000 trash calls last month. For real.

Okay so check it— your City Hall, like, seriously has its hands full, and it’s not with what you might think. We’re talking about trash, fam. Literally.

### Your City Hall Is Drowning in Trash Requests

So, according to the latest 311 service request data, the number one thing Angelenos are asking for help with is "Item Pickups." We're talking 8,672 requests for regular pickups, and then *another* 6,972 requests for "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup." No mames, that’s almost 16,000 calls just about stuff left on the street! And it’s not just a Westside problem, trust me. You see it everywhere, from Boyle Heights to the Valley. Then, right after that, "Information-Only" requests are super high too, which makes you wonder if folks even know where to look for basic info. It tells you a lot about what people are actually dealing with every day, ya sabes? It's not the fancy new developments they’re asking about—it’s the basic stuff.

What’s next? Well, with all these calls, the city’s gotta figure out a better system for keeping our streets clean. This isn't just a quality of life thing; it affects everything.
