Okay so check it — your 311 requests for the last little bit? They're telling a story, fam, and it’s not exactly a pretty one. It's like, literally, the city's crying out for help with basic stuff.
### What LA is asking for
You see those 311 calls? The biggest thing, by far, is "Item Pickups." We're talking 9,042 requests for just that, and then another 7,686 for "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup." No mames, that's almost 17,000 calls about trash! Then you got "Graffiti Removal" at 2,488 and another 2,098 requests, so almost 4,600 for that. And then "Homeless Encampment" requests are at 2,145.
It's clear from these numbers that our city, like, has a serious cleanliness issue. People are calling for pickups because stuff is just left everywhere, ya sabes? It's not just a Westside thing, either. You see this everywhere from Lincoln Heights to the Valley. These aren't like, fancy permits for new pools, oye. These are people trying to get rid of junk.

This data, straight from the City of Los Angeles 311 service requests, shows us where the residents' everyday frustrations are really hitting. We're talking about basic quality of life stuff here. The city needs to get on top of this because people are literally begging for cleaner streets.
That's the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
