LA's 311 calls tell you what's really bugging your neighbors

Okay so check it—

### Your neighbors are really tired of trash, no mames

You know how everyone's always complaining about the city, like, not doing enough? Well, the 311 data for Los Angeles just dropped, and it literally screams "WE NEED TRASH PICKUP, Y'ALL!" Seriously.

The top two service requests are "Item Pickups" and "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup" – 8,491 requests for regular pickups and another 7,387 for illegal dumping. That's over 15,000 calls just for *stuff on the street*. And then you have "Graffiti Removal" with 3,252 requests. It's like, people are trying to keep their neighborhoods clean, but they need the city to actually *do* the work. Information-only calls were up there too, which, fine, people have questions. But the sheer volume of trash complaints tells you what’s really bugging Angelenos. This is the real LA, fam — east of the 110.

It means your city council members are probably getting an earful about overflowing bins and abandoned mattresses more than anything else right now. Keep an eye on how they respond to these basic service demands, especially as we head into budget season.
