Your 311 calls for trash are blowing up City Hall

Your trash is literally making City Hall busy

Okay so check it—your phone? The one with the 311 app? Yeah, you guys are using it a lot, like, a *lot* for trash. No mames. According to the latest City Hall data, the number one thing Angelenos are asking for is "Item Pickups," with 8,643 requests, and "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup" right behind it at 7,365. That’s literally almost 16,000 requests just for trash.

It means people are seeing stuff out there—like a old couch on the curb on Sunset, or a mattress dumped in an alley off Olympic, ya sabes—and they're calling it in. City services are getting slammed with this, which, like, it's good they're responding, but it also shows you how much stuff is just... out there. This isn't just a Westside problem, fam. This is *everywhere*.

What to watch for next is if the city can keep up with this volume, or if we're gonna see these numbers keep climbing. Because if you can't even get your street clean, what else is gonna slide, right?

That's the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
