Your City Hall Week: We're Talking Housing and Weather
Here's the thing about Peterborough, the week that's just flowed past us has really shown us two big currents: how we find a place to call home, and how we deal with what Mother Nature throws our way.
The Canadian Real Estate Association, CREA, has been making waves with a new podcast series. It's all about making the journey through the housing market a little less turbulent, a bit more like a smooth paddle down the Otonabee. They're talking about easing that real estate journey, making it simpler to navigate, which is something we can all appreciate here in the Electric City.
* CREA launched a new podcast to simplify real estate.
* The goal is to make home-buying a smoother process for everyone.
Then, just as the week was drawing to a close, we had a pretty significant winter storm warning. The snow came down heavy, really reminding us that even though spring is trying to break through, winter sometimes likes to linger, like ice clinging to the shoreline.
This is the Electric City — small town, big current. Let's go.
