Philly, is City Hall doin' NOTHING with our development?

Yo, Your City Hall Is Doin' Nothin' Or Nah?

Listen, I'm not even gonna hold you. I been lookin' at these City Hall reports, and it's quieter than the Art Museum steps at 3 AM out here. We got a whole lotta "N/A" for development and nothin' specific on 311 requests. What's goin' on with all that, Philly?

The latest data from the city's public records shows that development activity in categories like Mechanical and Residential Building is straight up N/A. And when you look at the 311 service requests, it's mostly "Information Request" and "Miscellaneous." Now, I get it, sometimes people just need info, or it's a random jawn, but it also makes you wonder if the city's just not trackin' things right, or if we ain't got no new projects movin'. You know how important new housing is, especially with folks gettin' priced out of their neighborhoods.

What does this mean for us, the regular folk? It means we gotta keep our eyes peeled. Are we really not building? Are we just not reporting it? We need to push for more transparency on these types of reports from City Hall. We deserve to know what's happenin' with our wooder ice money, or nah?

That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.
