Your City Hall just had a Nollywood production about housing

Your City Hall was a whole Nollywood production again!

Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet. My darlings, this week at City Hall, it felt like everyone was starring in their own mini-series, and the main plot? Real estate, of course!

Okay, so this is actually wild. We had so much back-and-forth about housing and development, it was giving me whiplash. Saskatoon is a city that will invite you to a farm-to-table dinner and then make you defend the concept of a city for twenty minutes. And the debates at City Hall this week? They certainly reflected that!

Here's what kept the councillors busy:

* **Housing Headaches:** Lots of talk about making homes more affordable and how we can build faster.

* **Development Debates:** Which neighborhoods get what, and how do we keep our city growing nicely?

* **The Big Picture:** Are we planning for the Saskatoon of tomorrow, or just patching up today?

It's all about finding that sweet spot between our cozy prairie vibes and making room for everyone who wants to call this beautiful city home. It’s never simple, my dears!
