Your City Hall just turned a snowstorm into a Nollywood drama.

Your City Hall always gives us a show!

Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet. My darlings, this week at City Hall was a whole Nollywood production, from beginning to end!

Okay, so this is actually wild. We started with Environment Canada giving us the heads-up about a proper prairie snowstorm, which, let's be honest, is peak Saskatoon. We're a city that loves to complain about snow but also secretly enjoys the drama of it all.

Then, the real estate discussions started, and oh, honey, it was a mini-series!

* Council debated land sales,

* They talked about property taxes,

* And, of course, the ever-present housing affordability crisis in our lovely city.

It’s like everyone at City Hall is trying to figure out how to build more homes while also making sure we still have that small-town feel. Saskatoon is a city that will invite you to a farm-to-table dinner and then make you defend the concept of a city for twenty minutes.

Catch you next week! For more real stories, visit mornings.live.
